Dream Girl Movie Review

From the time he is a child, Karam makes a fine showing of mimicking ladies’ voices. So while in school he makes intermediary telephone calls to instructors as his companion’s mother, when he is more seasoned, Karam (Ayushmann Khurrana) lands jobs in neighborhood plays as Sita and Radha. Furthermore, he is frequently worshipped by the individuals in the community of Gokul for his jobs and generally for the voice he can regulate. Yet, it’s not something he or his dad, Jagjit Singh (Annu Kapoor) may be alright with. His father needs him to get a customary line of work, where he doesn’t need to wear the lady demonstration and Karam is likewise certain that he will assume these jobs just till he gets a normal line of work. Which he does soon enough, however, the main hitch is it expects him to be ‘Pooja’ at a called community for sex talks. Before long enough, ‘Pooja’ has a grouping of men and a lady besotted by her. What’s more, every one of them needs to either meet or wed her. This while Karam’s sweetheart Mahi (Nushrat Bharucha) is careless of his twofold life.

Dream Girl‘ is situated as an outright parody, so don’t expect any nuanced test into crossdressing or investigating one’s sexuality. Indeed, there is none of that. Maybe, one has been spoilt by Ayushmann Khurrana’s selection of movies up until this point, which consistently figure out how to test existing known limits.
